Registration

Depending on your funding, your laboratory and your supervisor position, you may be registered in one of the following Universities :

• PSL : Observatoire de Paris or ENS Ulm
• Paris-Saclay : Paris-Saclay whatever your entity : Physics Graduate School or UVSQ.
• Université Paris Cité : UPC
• Sorbonne Université : SU

Each one follows its own rules, which you must obey.

• At PSL All the formalities will be done through the ADUM database. For the Observatoire de Paris, follow the procedure described in the fiche for the first registration, and for the re-enrollment. For ENS, the procedure for first enrollment is here and for re enrollment here.
• At Paris-Saclay : The registration procedure is entirely dematerialized on ADUM. Follow the instructions on the Paris-Saclay website, in French because the English version produces an error.
• At Sorbonne University, the registration procedure uses ADUM since the beginning of the 2021 academic year. Follow the procedure as explained on the University website, in French because the English version currently produces an error. If you benefit from a doctoral contract, you will need to fill in this form.
• At Université Paris Cité, you must follow the procedure described on the University’s website. The mandatory forms are here. We also ask you to keep your ADUM file up to date to have a complete database.

• In every case you must sign a training agreement with your supervisor.

You must also sign your contrat doctoral. If your funding comes from some other provider (often, some foreign origin), you must present a proof of funding to the administration.

• A meeting for the new PhD students is scheduled on October the 9th, 2023 at 11:00 at Meudon Observatory, building N°18 meeting room.
• At the end of your 3rd year, you may need to register for a 4th year, depending on your defense schedule. Se these specific Information.
