Mandatory courses

Mandatory courses during the PhD

Your PhD includes mandatory courses. They are described on a specific site at: cours doctoraux /.

  • You must validate these courses on your ADUM account, and modify your "Plan de formation" accordingly.
  • There is a mandatory course on ethics
  • During your thesis, you must follow 90h of courses. This must include a thematic school which accounts for 30h.
  • You you are teaching during your PhD, this may account for 30h too.

You may ask a small financial support to the ED.

Other possibilities

Each ComUE proposes its own generalist courses. See their web sites:

  • Each year, PhD students organize in conference known as "Elbereth".
  • Every two years or so the doctoral school organizes a thematic school. The last one was on GAIA in March 2018.
