Registration

Registration

All new PhD students must meet either the director of the doctoral school or the deputy director in charge of their registration University at the beginning of the new year.

Once agreement has been reached with the Doctoral School, there are several different steps to follow for registration. Details depend on which University you are registered to, but the philosophy remains the same.

The new PhD student must:

  • Have an account on ADUM. This database is used for all PhDs. It is also used by PSL, Sorbonne Université and Paris-Saclay for their official procedures. Most accounts are created to apply for a PhD and informations are reused for registration. Access to the account is granted by the ED.
  • Proceed to his/her administrative registration in his/her University. Details vary depending on each of them.
  • Sign his/her doctoral contract.

Which University you are registered to depends on rules negociated between the Universities. You will be informed by the Doctoral School.
